March 2008
It’s not so much what I’m doing now…but it’s what I’m doing this weekend. Reading. A whole crap megaton of reading. Need to catch up.
February 2008
Looks like Twitter is starting to stabilize a bit.
A rare post… →
It’s a pretty rare event that I post on February 29th, and for a change, it has nothing to do with how busy I am. A few pre-midterm thoughts while Twitter is MIA (again!)…
Don’t let the RIAA…
Today didn’t happen last year.
overheard “I’ve got no idea what I’m doing on the test, and I’m like what, and then when I get the test back, I’m like…whaaaat?”
Morning folks. It’s Friday. Just took my first test — was the first one out. Is that a bad thing? It was all media issues, so I’m good.
Great times at the tweetup tonight. Everyone was mistaking @bmuller for @willia4. Hilarious. And @dtennant and I are shuffleboard masters
ARRRRRRR!!!
Hanging out with bloggers and tweeters at Gene’s. If you’re not here, you’re missing out!
Apple-Q’ing and heading home, then to go get @bmuller and hope I can find a parking spot at Gene’s.
You guys tweet a lot while I’m out of the office. :)
An e-mail from 2006 was just pushed to my blackberry. Weird.
In Hoogie Boogie Land, there is no war. There is no hate. Can you all relate?
This tweet is serious business. http://tinyurl.com/23wxu4
Charleston-area tweeters: Don’t forget tonight’s our meetup at Gene’s Haufbrau at 6:30. Feel free to pop in.
I hate IIS. With. A. Passion.
Headed to bed…chilly one out there, bundle up!
It’s so weird calling up Weather Underground and not seeing my station reporting…
I’m following people on Twitter and I should be writing a TV script instead. Typical.
Finally got the work bug at midnight. Go figure. WIll be up for a while…
Well that was exciting. Zero productivity during the brief Twitter vacation.
Retweeting @technosailor: http://snipurl.com/20ki7 uh oh…
The CofC newspaper requires registration to read anything more than one article. HUH? Stupid.
New anemometer shipped.
The Panthers cut David Carr and re-sign Mushin Muhammad. Glad to know there is at least a minimal level of intelligence in that front office
What, exactly, does it take to become one of the Experts always mentioned on the news?
Out of work before sundown. This is becoming increasingly rare, despite the lengthening of the days.
Forgot that my e-mail is like nowhere now. Whoops.
It’s funny how Congress is quick to investigate Roger Clemens but won’t go after any members of the government for worse lies under oath.
Amazon Waltz time.
“The college of charlestons IT department is a complete joke and total failure compared to other colleges” Zing. http://tinyurl.com/2gv778
The only e-mails I ever get are in Russian.
For the record, I always approach a matchmaking situation with trepidation, regardless of who. Standard operating procedure.
Apparently matchmaking for me and someone else is planned for this weekend. Approaching with trepidation.
Half hour early for class. LOL. Waiting patiently.
I keep hearing my phone ring when it’s not. Yikes.
Oooh, exciting, the Twitter bringing tweets into the middle of my timeline issue is back. Sigh. This is a really stupid morning.
Loving the dock voyeurism, especially since the original meme called for me to post my Start menu. ;)
(previous tweet @justinlilly)
Yellow sonar is Network Utility, and the Windows w/ satellite is Remote Desktop Connection (vital for my job). Hammer and blueprint is Xcode
Early to bed again tonight. Hope this trend continues.
Think in the meantime I’m going to shut down my weather station. If I can’t give complete reports, I would rather not give reports at all.
Just ordered a replacement anemometer. May as well keep going..
Not sure if I’m going to replace the anemometer at this point or not, uncertain whether the station would have continued at another location
That’s it for my weather station. A tree branch took out my anemometer today.
Limited weather reporting for a couple days →
A large tree branch decided that I needed a break from reporting weather from my station for a few days, falling on my anemometer during a storm today and taking it out. Worse, the nose is broken off of it. The nose has a weight in it, which keeps the anemometer right on track. It was reasonable to replace, so I went ahead and ordered a new one. Therefore, don’t expect much from my station for the...
My Start Menu (Or: I Epic Fail at Memes) →
Ray tagged me like a bajillion years ago to show off my Start menu. I never do memes, but what the heck. Everybody who reads this blog probably wonders why I never update anymore.
So, in the interest of being a smartass, I present my Dock instead. Bwhaha.
I was really productive at Norm’s the last time I was there. might give it another shot tonight.
Found three bugs in a product, reporting them now. Plus, got some issues fixed on our end. Super-productive day. I feel good.
I wonder if the people who sing backup for The Hoff go around and beam about singing backup for The Hoff.
